In Bielsko-Biała, in the period from 15 till 17 September the 22nd edition of ENERGETAB International Bielsko-Biała Fair, the biggest power industry fair, was held. The offers of approximately 600 exhibitors attracted numerous visitors, as is the case every year, from both Poland and abroad.
State-of-the-art apparatus and equipment were shown which are employed in the professional energy sector and other industries – devices of automation technology, monitoring, IT systems and data transmission systems, and measuring apparatus.
The visitors paid particular attention to energy effective technologies which allow to obtain energy from renewable sources, semiconductor sources of light and LED road lights.
Thanks to the developing co-operation of the producers and integrators of the KNX / EIB international standard called KNX Polska, the visitors of the fair could learn, for the first time, the principle of operation of an intelligent apartment and the functionality and the design of the control accessories available in a wide range nowadays (intelligent buttons, wall-mounted touch screen panels).

- Transformers, switchgears and HV apparatus
- Electric power generators
- Cables, wires, electric materials and network accessories
- Automation technology, control and measuring apparatus
- IT systems
- Environment protection technologies
- Technologies connected with overhauling and upgrading
Honourable patronage over the ENERGETAB 2009 Fair was taken by:
- Minister of Economy;
- President of Association of Polish Electrical Engineers;
- President of Polish Power Transmission and Distribution Association;
- Mayor of the city of Bielsko-Biała.
The TAURON S.A. Group became General Partner of the ENERGETAB 2009 Fair.
Another edition of ENERGETAB 2010 will be held in Bielsko-Biała on 14-16 September 2010
